My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pursy is a stunning female black lab mix around three years old, and weighs 45 lbs. Pursy is a wonderful, medium sized gentle, loving little lady who wants to be by your side at all times. She is very affectionate and attaches easily, yet she doesn't seem to have separation anxiety.

Pursylane is a grade A snuggler!!!!! So if you like snuggles, this is the lady for you!!!! The sweetest thing is when you come home, she jumps up towards you and hugs you with her head on your belly. We have allowed this, because it's just the sweetest and loving feeling!!!! She loves sleeping on the sofa while watching movies. Pursy tries to snuggle between me and the sofa, with her making herself a Pursy sandwich!!!

She does great on a leash! Yet sometimes will pull a little bit when she sees the perfect squirrel. She loves to play outside and would love a fenced yard! And she's also happy finding a little sun spot outside to lay in too!! I'm not sure if Pursylane is a fetcher, though.... My other dog is kind of bossy when it comes to that game, which she handles very very well!!! Other than playing, she is just happy to be by your side. Once play time is over, she will just sit next to you and enjoy your company. Pursy is truly, the most snuggly pup ever!!!

We keep Pursy in her crate when we are away from home, and she sleeps in her crate at night. She is fully housebroken now, and hasn't had any accidents in a few weeks, though I believe that sticking to the crate training for a little while longer would be best.

Pursy does get along very well with other dogs and she gets along with cats too! We have three cats and one other dog in my home, and the experience has been great!!

When we got her from the shelter, she had been so badly neglected that she had almost no fur. She has been fully treated for that, and she is fully vetted, however, she may not ever get all of that fur back. But that makes her even more BEAUTIFUL to us, and it makes her even more special!! She is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. She is also current on trifexis! You can fill out an app for this gorgeous girl here: http://forrescue.net/dog-application/. She can't wait to find her FORever home!
