Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Buddy: 19 month old male neutered black Lab, ~ 65 lbs
What Buddy says:
I am a very handsome young AKC registered young Lab (don't YOU think I'm handsome??). I was destined to father many Lab puppies who look like me, to make my owners lots of money. I had two Lab girlfriends all to myself. But it wasn't a very good life, we all lived outside with no human friends to pay attention to us or play with us or teach us anything. Then one day like a lightning bolt, a Lab Rescue hero arrived, loaded me and my friends into his car, and off we went to a wonderful place. At our new place, nice humans spent time with us, played with us in the big yard, and treated us really nice. It is great! AND, they tell me what a good boy I am! They do say it is only a temporary place for me, that a wonderful adopter will soon find me and take me to my new home. I can't wait to begin my new life with a family.
What Buddy's boarding place has to say:
Buddy is a happy sweet young boy who is very well behaved in his kennel. He loves attention, is energetic but not over the top, and is good with other dogs. A very cute Lab...
What Buddy's Rescue Rep says:
Buddy came from a place where he had no guidance, training, or any of the kind of structure that young Labs need. Yet he is a darling boy who is great with people, other dogs, and who wants to learn how to be the best family dog. Taking him to training will help him become that dog, and will create a lifelong unshakable bond between Buddy and his new family.
Buddy is now neutered (no more little Buddies in his future), microchipped, up to date on shots, Heartworm negative, and is a healthy young boy.
He is located in Petaluma.
If you are looking for a handsome young Lab like Buddy, are committed to taking him to training, to showing him the wonderful world that he deserves, and will be his lifelong buddy, please email Rescue Rep Liz at liz@jobshopsf.com.
(Please keep in mind we are all volunteers, most of us work full time and we all have personal lives. I do call everyone back within 2-3 days so please be patient and I will be back in touch with you. When the dogs are in foster homes then it may take longer as we need to touch base with the fosters for updates on the dogs. We work very hard to make the right matches for the dogs and for the new owners. We get 3-5 dogs per week and we do not have a facility that we keep the dogs housed in. They are scattered all over the Bay Area.)
