Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Brutus is a 6-year-old Doberman. This big handsome fawn boy lost his home in a difficult divorce. He then was rehomed but came back because his new mom did not understand how to handle his resource guarding. He came back again because he had figured out that he could get his way if he was stubborn. After working with a trainer so he could become the Doberman we knew he could be, HE IS!! Brutus is very friendly with lots of Doberman leaning. He knows basic commands such as heel, sit, stay, down and handshakes, especially if you give him a treat! Brutus is about 90 pounds. He definitely needs an experienced Doberman owner who will be the alpha and also continue obedience training to manage his behavior. He gets along with strangers and other dogs, did well at the dog park and enjoys a good hike! To adopt Brutus, please complete an application at www.drnv.org .
