Ting's Story...
Meet Ting! This moo-cow look alike is utterly sweet! At 5-years-old, she is our most adorable low-rider and is sure to get a chuckle out of everyone! She enjoys romping around in the field, walks well on leash (with a firm handler at least) and has been working on making doggie friends! She may be small but she sure is mighty. She rides well in the car and if you have something tasty enough, she will sit when asked. She sometimes tests new people and sees how much she can get away with until she's told to stop being so goofy! Overall, Ting tends to hang back in her kennel, but we know someone will fall for her sweet face soon - could it be you?!

We will let you know Ting is available and able to have applications submitted once you've met. For more information, please give us a call at (302) 571-0111 or visit us at our center (701 A Street Wilmington, DE) Tuesday-Friday 12-7pm or Saturday & Sunday 12-5pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ting, a Wilmington Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Wilmington, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Wilmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wilmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wilmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wilmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
