Daisy's Story...
Meet Daisy! She may still be new here, but she is coming around quickly! She came in nervous and shy, but once she has a chance to say hello, she is more open to new people (treats help too). Daisy absolutely LOVES being outside and playing with other dogs! She would do best in a patient home preferably with another outgoing dog that can show her the ropes. She even went out to our agility course with our dog trainer and she did marvelous for her first time. If you're ready to meeting our sweet Daisy, come on in and spend some time with her!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Wilmington Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Wilmington, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Wilmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wilmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wilmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wilmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
