Marshall's Story...
Introducing Marshall. He is approximately a year old and we are guessing he is a golden retriever and shepherd mix. Marshall was abandoned in Mississippi, but lucky for him he made his way to the property of a boarding facility. Without hesitation they got him to safety and asked us if we could help find his forever home. Marshall is fully vetted and crate trained. He is always smiling. This sweet pup is excellent with children and other dogs and would be the perfect family dog. All he needs is to find that perfect forever family!
His adoption fee is $450 and it includes his neutering, his microchip, all of his annual vaccinations, negative heartworm test and proheart injection. His adoption fee also includes his health certificate to travel and transport by one of our dog transport partners. For an adoption application on Marshall, email us at wilsonanimalrescue@yahoo.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marshall, a Plainfield Golden Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Plainfield, or seeking a Golden Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Plainfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Golden Retriever/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
