Labrador Retriever Dog for adoption in Crocker, Missouri - Rita

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Rita's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Rita's Story...
Rita has come a long way since she was found abandoned near the river. Her black coat is beautiful and she has lots of personality. Rita plays well with dogs of all sizes and does fine around cats. She barks when she first meets people and take a bit too warm up.
Rita was recently diagnosed with hip dysplasia (2) and arthritis in her front legs which is believed to be from injuries sustained as a puppy. She isn't as fast as the other dogs, but with the help of her Rimadyl medication she does her best to keep up with them. She is heart worm negative, current on all shots, heart worm medication and she is microchipped.
Her adoption fee is $120 to help with her medical costs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rita, a Crocker Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Crocker, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Crocker.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Crocker already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Crocker breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Crocker paves the way for another one to be saved.
