Handsome 80lb Bubba is waiting for the perfectly matched family or person for him to share companionship with! He was found wandering around all by himself in the freezing cold and no one cared enough to come looking for him. He has been in his foster home in Waynesville, MO for almost 2 months now and is doing great. For the first few weeks, he was kept on leash outside, even with a 6 ft fence, as there was concern about him trying to get over it. Trust was built and since then he has been off leash outside and is doing great with no issues of attempted escapes :). His foster home has numerous other dogs, male and female, very large and very small as well as a couple of cats. He is doing well with all of the smaller pups, the cats and the large females but he did not like the one large male that was temporarily in the home. While he has done fine around all of the others, he's not overly excited about them either and would probably be happiest in a home where he is the only fur kid. If there are other pets in the home, the family would have to have experience with proper separation and introduction techniques. He likes to join his foster mom at the sink when she's doing dishes and rest his head on her until she gives in and hugs him. He is quick to jump up on the couch or bed for snuggles and belly rubs which he dearly loves. Although he does like to snuggle on the bed, he eventually migrates to his own bed which he loves as well. He does get excited for treats and squeaky toys drives him absolutely bonkers :) He is doing well with crate training and house training, however; the house training is not quite 100%. The family would have to be willing and able to continue working on that. He needs a family that has Rottweiler or at least large breed experience.

He is current on all vaccines, will be neutered, is microchipped, on flea/tick/HW prevention and his HW test was negative. His adoption donation is $150.
