Dusty's Story...
Several cats were found abandoned on a dirt road in the county. Dusty was one of them. He was left behind to fend for himself, and he had a hard time dong so. When Dusty was found, he was very hungry, very dehydrated and otherwise in not great shape. After visiting the vet and getting some good loving care, he is now ready for his new home. We believe that he is around 2 years old.

Adoption donation for cats/kittens is $75 which includes the: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, testing for Fel, worming and flea/tick prevention.
A microchip can be added for an additional $10 and includes free registration.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dusty, a Crocker Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Crocker, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Crocker.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Crocker already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Crocker breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Crocker paves the way for another one to be saved.
