Buddy in San Antonio's Story...
Meet handsome Buddy! He is a seven year old broken coat Jack Russell Terrier. He is very energetic! This cute boy loves to run, play fetch, and interact with his family. Buddy's favorite activity is walking and sharing time in your lap, or sleeping close by. He is house trained and can be trusted to be left alone, freely enjoying his domain. Because this precious guy is the king of his castle, he needs a one pet family and is not used to children. He will do anything for a treat, and has many talents for a family who will work with him. Someone with knowledge of JRT temperament would suit Buddy very well.
No kids. No cats. No other dogs. Home visit and vet reference is mandatory. Adoption fee is 200 dollars. If interested in giving Buddy his forever home, please fill out the application on www.russellrescue.com. Contact jolleyjames@sbcglobal.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy in San Antonio, a Austin Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Austin, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
