Honey's Story...
Hello, my name is Honey Bun, Honey for short. I enjoy playing with my brother, chewing my bones and taking walks in the park. I’m super friendly and extremely beautiful; men have stopped traffic to tell me how pretty I am. Being a 2-3 year old pitbull, I’m good at not chewing things I’m not supposed to; however my foster mom found her shoes in my bed a few times, so she learned quickly to put them away instead of under the desk. I love playing in the back yard but if you leave me alone I get nervous and will jump a chain-link fence with ease. I don’t go out for long and I’ll usually follow you right back inside. My favorite part of the day is bedtime! I love snuggling close, but I usually end up in my own bed by morning. My ideal forever home would be a moderate to low energy lifestyle, with lots of love and belly rubs. I get along great with other dogs, cats, and kids. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Honey, a Toledo Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Toledo, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Toledo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toledo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toledo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toledo paves the way for another one to be saved.
