Jason & Jasper (Neutered)'s Story...
"Jason & Jasper" are adorable male kittens who were surrendered by their owner on June 24 2016. These little brothers were only 2-months old at that time and have spent half of their young lives (together) in a small cage in our shelter. They are happy, affectionate boys who dearly love each other. "Jason & Jasper" are nearly identical twins and virtually impossible to tell apart except that Jason is slightly the larger of the two. They have sleek black short smooth coats, long tails, and darling kitten faces with golden eyes and black button noses. They were given vaccinations and wormer on June 24, 2016. We plan to have them neutered on September 14, 2016 and would love for them to find a home together. They will be available for adoption, foster, or rescue after being neutered. Rescue groups may contact our Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation and also provide combo testing without charge to rescues/fosters. UPDATE: "Jason & Jasper" were both neutered on September 14, 2016 and were also given rabies vaccine

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jason & Jasper (Neutered), a Marietta Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
