Hello, I'm Cynthia. Here in the shelter, I love being by myself. When somebody opens my door, I go to the very top of the cat tree, where I won't be disturbed. And I like toys I can move around myself more than those I know are controlled by people. Don't get me wrong: I'd rather not have other cats around, but I get along very well with people. You'll find that I listen very carefully when you talk to me--and then do pretty much what I want to do. (I do have an independent streak.) I need a place I can say is mine alone and a person who wants a good companion, somebody who'll sit nearby, maybe even right next to them, and listen.

Our Adoption Process...

We ask potential adopters to fill out a matchmaker form. When they are ready to adopt an animal and the form and interview process indicates a good match, we have the adopter sign an adoption contract promising that the animal will receive good physical and emotional care. Fees vary and we often have adoption specials. Fees for senior pets are sponsored. Otherwise, dogs are $100, puppies $150 and up, cats are $75, kittens are $95.
