Midnight Blue was rescued from euthanasia at another shelter, but nothing was really wrong with him. His one and only owner just thought he was too old. This couldn't be further from the truth. The fact is, a lot is very young about ol' Blue.
Midnight Blue has your classic lab temperament, mellowed a bit with age, but he still loves a good romp in the grass and a nice walk about the neighborhood. Blue can even give a young pup some pretty good playtime!
Midnight Blue loves people, loves food, loves giving kisses and showing you his big brown loving eyes. It seems he was never given many doggie toys in his life because he reacts to every new one with puppy-like wonder, which is really sweet to behold.
Blue would do well in most homes. He does great with other dogs, he is house trained and well behaved when left alone in the house. He can pull a bit on his leash, but is otherwise a good walker. We have not observed him with kids or cats, but he lived with kids in his previous home and did well with them. Since being in foster care, this sweet boy has lost over 10 pounds and is now ready to find a fur-ever home that will give him the love and comfort that he so deserves .
Midnight Blue still has a lot of life left in his years. He's a loving and easy going soul who would be a positive addition to any home. Come meet him!
