Meet Lily! She is 2 years and is a cattle dog mix who was abandoned by her former owner. She is very sweet and loving and devoted to her caretaker. She is also housebroken, UTD, fully vetted, and microchipped. Lily is good with kids and other dogs and would love to have a family of her own to play with in a secure fenced yard.

This is a courtesy post for a friend. Our dogs have an adoption fee that ranges from $375-$500. To ensure our pets go to the best possible homes, we are only able to adopt within a 30 minute drive from Nanuet, NY unless we have a representative in your area to complete the home inspection.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lily, a Nanuet Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Nanuet, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Nanuet.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nanuet already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nanuet breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nanuet paves the way for another one to be saved.
