Blu-Belle is a congenial, happy adult female dog. She is the perfect age, about 5 years! No puppy accidents and not too old to play and have fun. She weighs 53 now and will be at her ideal weight at about 50 pounds. Now that she is finally out of the shelter, she has more opportunities for exercise. She is absolutely gorgeous! We had a family reunion recently and every kept commenting on her coloring and her calm demeanor was noted by all. My cousin wanted to adopt her and called her husband. Unfortunately, he said no. If he had met her, I am sure she would already be in their home
When she first met the other dogs in this house, she did little bows and dancing as part of her 'getting to know you routine'. Everyone went along with it except the 14 year old schoolmaster type dog who just stared at her while she danced. Blu-Belle has a beautiful blue tick coat with unusual markings. Her white dot on her forehead gives her that look of royalty. This sweet girl is very sociable with dogs, cats, and people. At this point, I feel she would be good in a multi-dog household or POSSIBLY as an only dog. If you are interested in making Blu-Belle a member of your family, please go to www.betterdaysarecominginc.org to fill out an application. Her adoption fee is $215.00. Questions? PLEASE NOTE: If you are interested in any of our dogs, please fill out an application. An interested adopter with a tentatively approved application always takes precedence over someone who calls or emails us. You will not be obligated to adopt if you fill out an application. However, it shows us you are serious and we can check that you sound like a good fit for that particular dog.
