Xiao Ba happily greets his humans with a wagging tail and enjoys being petted after given time to warm up with strangers. He was rescued off the streets to a crowded shelter where he stayed for four years. Being infected with scabies and unable to receive proper care he was transferred to a foster home. He then had aural hematoma and was taken to the vet for surgical drainage. His hearing is back to normal but one of his ear is now floppy. His eyes are slightly opaque with the specialist’s finding that atheroma doesn’t affect his vision. Recently he was bullied and attacked by a new foster dog with injuries only to be discovered after blood trickled down his legs and thick fur shaved off, fortunately Xiao Ba remains gentle and submissive. He hopes to become a furry member to a loving and moderately active family.
Xiao Ba is neutered (October-19-2013), up to date with routine shots, micro-chipped, de-wormed and tested negative for heartworm.
