Val is a big, blue-eyed, goofy love-bug. Val loves to be by his people's side whether that be going for walk in the park, cuddling on the couch, or playing tug of war in the yard. Val has been learning basic commands, is house trained, and has been well behaved when left alone.
Val has successfully lived with both dogs and cats, and has been good with the kids he's met. Really, he just wants to be everyone's best friend, but he is a big, strong dog and has shown to be reactive at times while meeting new dogs on his leash. We think Val would do well as an only dog or as an addition to the right pack as Val loves to play with his foster's two small dogs.
Val came to us with a dislocated hip, and he recently underwent femoral head ostectomy. He is looking for the right home where he can recover from this surgery. He needs light activity, and benefits from range of motion exercises and light massage. Can you welcome this handsome beast into your home and help him grow into the wonderful dog he wants to be?
