I'm Puffin, a 15 year old butterfluff girl. I am in foster care. I'm happiest sitting nearby and being petted. I prefer a quieter home. I like to sleep in my heated cat bed. I still enjoy playing when people move a wand toy around for me to catch.

I don't climb or jump, so I need a lift or some pet steps to get up on the bed to watch TV with you. I'm so happy being close and petted, that you'll want me there soothing you with my gentle purr.

I don't enjoy the company of other cats but I love my purrson once I adapt to my new home. I'd like to be the only cat. My front claws were stolen before I was rescued. I prefer soft scoopable litter on my toes.

I need to remain on my current diet because I have some food allergies.

I was found alone, outside in a ditch in the winter, emaciated, matted and terrified. I had been roughing it for awhile. I had a large, yucky growth on my tail. I had most of my tail amputated because the growth was bothering me. I was surviving any way I could outside, and eating food that I was allergic to. It caused me to get an ulcer on my lip. It took time and tender loving care to restore me to my former glory, and it sure was worth it.

To learn more, or schedule a time to meet me, please call Joan at 651-705-6264. She'll call you back.

The adoption fee for an adult cat is $120.

About Feline Rescue, Inc.

Our Adoption Process...

By adopting a Feline Rescue cat you will be supporting a caring, no-kill shelter and making room for one more homeless cat. We are always looking for good, safe, loving homes for our many cats and kittens. We want to be sure placements are a success for both parties, so before we send our feline friends home with anyone, we ask you to fill out a basic questionnaire. Since we work with cats everyday we will be able to suggest a perfect match to your needs. If a sponsorship fits your schedule better, you may support a cat of your choice and we will send you pictures and updates. All of our cats are feline leukemia/FIV tested, fecal tested, neutered/spayed, vaccinated and all of our kittens are vet checked, fecal checked and given their first set of shots. All receive high-quality veterinary care and exams. We charge an adoption fee to offset these costs. Adoption Hours: We are open seven days a week for adoptions, but our hours do vary because we are staffed entirely by volunteers. Call (651) 642-5900 for specific times and more information.
