Mango's Story...
Meet Mango, a darling, fun, yet very handsome buff or very pale red tabby chap who was born in mid-April 2016. He is such a sweet boy who loves to snuggle with his foster mom; she loves stroking his soft-as-a-bunny fur to help lower her blood pressure.
Yet, Mango is a typical kitten who loves to play with his siblings, other cats, and dogs in his foster home as well as catnip mice and balls with bells. Mango and his siblings and cousins were rescued from living out in the country, where they were sure to be prey for coyotes and hawks.
So he is very grateful to Buster's Friends for bringing him inside to live safely and for serving up brimming bowls of scrumptious food. Despite his hardscrabble beginnings, Mango is well adjusted and would make a wonderful pet. Won't you open up your heart and home to this cameo-colored fella? You'll be so glad that you did!
Mango is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for his indoor-only home. His adoption fee is $125 for kittens 9 months old and younger, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mango, a Houston Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
