Delia is a senior Maltese/mix. She is a very sweet girl and does well with other dogs & enjoys their company, however she does not try to play. Delia is a senior and likes to rest/sleep but does have her active times as well. She is not a lap dog and doesn't sit on laps for long, she is pretty independent.
Delia loves to investigate in the yard, she loves to roam around in the grass! She must have a home that has a fenced yard, no exceptions. We feel that due to her being a senior we don't want to take away one of the things she enjoys the most.
Due to her age, no children under the age of 13. Delia is very friendly but would not do well in a highly active house. She needs peace, quiet and calm. Delia is not housebroken, she will start to pace around when she needs to go potty and if you learn her signals you will know when she wants to go outside. Delia also does have her senior moments, sometimes we think she may get a little confused.
Delia is a sweet girl and needs a home to call her home to live out the remainder of her life. Delia does NOT have any health issues that require medication.
Delia has been spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, had a dental and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Delia, please complete the adoption application located at www.furrykidsrefuge.org/adoptadog and a dedicated volunteer will get back to you as soon as possible.
