DOB July 8, 2013.

Hi, I'm Handsome Todd! I’m a sweet and friendly guy who loves lots of attention and TOYS! I love to play, run and roll around. I’m an active guy with lots of energy, so it's important that I have lots of room to run, jump and explore. I enjoy cardboard boxes to jump in and hide under. I find all kinds of toys and goodies when I explore and I am so excited to show them to my humans. My foster mom taught me to play fetch with hair elastics and I happily run them back to her.

I was brought to Toronto Animal Services with a dislocated hip and some other injuries. Thankfully, Toronto Cat Rescue got me out of that shelter and into a vet clinic where I had some cage rest and fully recovered without surgery. After I was feeling better, I went to my foster home and I’m back to full speed!

I adore attention and will nudge and flop around for you. While I’m enthusiastic about being pet, I might want to play instead, so throw a toy for me if I’m too rambunctious, and off I go.

I’m a very sweet and personable guy. I really enjoy the company of humans, but I do not like other cats or children and will assert my dominance over them. I’m a handsome boy with lots of love to give to an adult-only family who wants to play with me!

About Toronto Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Toronto Cat Rescue is a registered, no-kill charity run by volunteers.

Our mission is to rescue and find homes for abandoned, sick or injured cats from situations of abuse, neglect or imminent euthanasia.

Our vision is for Toronto to be a city in which no adoptable cat is killed and rescue organizations such as Toronto Cat Rescue are no longer needed.

Our registered charity number: 889-198-727-RR-0001

Our Adoption Process...

Decided on the cat or kitten you would like to adopt? Please call 416-538-8592, or email adopt@torontocatrescue.ca.

An adoption counsellor will return your call and give you more details about the cat you are interested in and ask some questions about your home to make sure the cat will be a "purr-fect" fit. We are happy to answer any questions you may have as well.

You will be supplied with the foster home address to have a meet and greet with your kitty. If both parties are happy, you can sign the TCR Contract of Adoption, pay the adoption fee and take your cat home with you in a safe carrying case.

Adoption fee is $175 per cat. This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. It includes 6 weeks of free pet insurance. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!

Note:

1. ALL senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopters choice, vs. our standard adoption fee of $175.

2. Our adoption fee for a bonded pair is $100 per cat, vs. $175 per cat.
