Velvet (Spayed)'s Story...
"Velvet" is a cute 3-month old female kitten who was surrendered by her owner on June 27, 2016 along with her siblings (Veronica, Victoria, and Vinny). This darling baby girl has a jet black short smooth coat, a long tail, and a pretty face with large golden eyes, a black button nose, and long black whiskers. "Velvet" has a sweet kitten personality and loves her sisters and little brother. She currently weighs 2.4 lbs. and was given vaccinations and wormer on June 27, 2016. "Velvet" will be available for adoption as soon as she can be spayed (and her adoption fee would be just $20 with an approved adoption application). She would love to find a home with another of her siblings :) "Velvet" has been spayed and has also been given rabies vaccine.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Velvet (Spayed), a Marietta Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
