Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Waylon, he's a 7 month old hound mix. Mom was a lab mix and dad was a hound/mastiff mix but he looks all country to me. Waylon lost his home due to no fault of his, but I don't think he had the best life. He is pretty skittish right now. He was at the vet today and was not a very good boy, so I take it he doesn't like the Dr. too much, but I have my own dog that is the same. He already is following me everywhere, unsure of the other dogs here but no issues, again think he's just scared. I don't think he was socialized much in his young life so even though I think he'll need a quieter home, one that will socialize him. Take him for walks out in public and even some doggy school will help build his confidence. He does not like a crate but so far doing ok not being crated. It is unsure at this time if he's housetrained. UPDATE: After having Waylon some time now, he's becoming the puppy he should be. He's getting much better at greeting strangers and he even likes my grandkids when they come over, he even slept with my granddaughter. He also is housetrained and tolerates a crate now. He is a very loving boy who loves his person and will follow them everywhere. He'll be a very loyal companion. He still needs to be continued socialized to stay on track with strangers. He will bark though at the door so he'll be a good watchdog if your looking for that type of dog. He's a real sweetheart now and I can do anything to him. If you would like to hear more about Waylon or would like to meet him please call Jody at 708 268-6965. Waylon has been neutered and up to date on his vaccines. His adoption fee of $200.00 also includes a microchip.
