Natasha (Spayed)'s Story...
"Natasha" is a beautiful female kitten who was surrendered by her family on May 10, 2016 along with her mother (Noelle) and her brothers (Nevin, Noah, and Norman) when the kittens were tiny 2-week old unweaned babies. Their mother Noelle raised her precious offspring in a small cage in our shelter, which isn't the most ideal place to raise a family :( This remarkable mother should be very proud of her youngsters since they not only survived but thrived thanks to her loving care. "Natasha" has a gray short smooth coat, a long tail, and an adorable face with a pale gray nose. She is the smallest kitten in the litter. "Natasha" and her brothers will be available for adoption when they are old enough/weigh enough to be spayed/neutered before they go to their new homes. We'd love to see them adopted in pairs, and please remember that their beautiful mother Noelle, who gave them life and nurtured them, also deserves a loving home. Mother Noelle was combo tested on May 14, 2016 and is negative for feline leukemia, FIV, and heartworm (which is also great news for the kittens). "Natasha" and her brothers went home with one of our fabulous foster mothers on July 2, 2016 <3 "Natasha" was spayed on August 10, 2016 and was also given rabies vaccine.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Natasha (Spayed), a Marietta Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
