Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This regal guy is King. King is quite a handsome fella. Always walking around with a big grin on his face, a tail always wagging, and a perky little prance in his step. We are calling him a shepherd/black mouth cur mix based on his coloring, but he may have some lab in him too. King appeared in his rescuer's yard starving and limping, likely the result of an encounter with a car as a younger pup. He was given corrective hip surgery from which he is now fully recovered.
King weighs in at about 40 pounds, and is estimated to be just under 1 year old. He is very good with dogs of any size, he adjusts his type of playing with the dog he is with. While he enjoys a good romp, laying back and stretching out for a good nap is not out of the question.
In his new foster home he has not chewed anything that is not meant to be chewed. He walks nicely into the crate and doesn't fuss in the least. He greets people well, not jumping or pushing. He takes treats nicely and shows a willingness to learn.
We believe King would be a great addition to any family - royalty or not!
King's adoption fee of $300 includes: vet exams, DAPP (distemper combo) vaccination, Bordetella vaccination, Rabies vaccination, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, routine deworming, microchip and neuter.
