Bruce is a chocolate and tan chihuahua puppy, born April 20 and about 8 pounds. He is a real sweetie who loves to be held. He hasn't been a barker here. He and three brothers came in late July from a Tulare shelter, where they had been owner turn ins. We call them "Nemo's crew"- they're named after Finding Nemo characters. Gill, Marlin, and Nemo have been adopted, but Bruce is still available. "Bruce" was the shark in Finding Nemo.
Our Bruce is a favorite here, very playful, friendly, and affectionate. He likes toys and is playmates with some of the other young dogs here, such as Malibu. He's good with kids and probably cats.
Because he's a puppy, he will need lots of attention and someone home often. He'll need to be house trained and leash trained.
Bruce has been neutered and microchipped and is up to date on all his shots, so when adopted he will be able to leave here with his new family right away!

For further info on the adoption process, please visit our home page and check out the "Adopt a Dog" section where very thorough instructions await. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, micorchipped, and fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records.
