Cameron says "Here are the Top 5 reasons to adopt a black cat!"

1) You can always find your black cat in the snow. OK, so no snow in Texas ... but you can find them easily on any light colored surface such your carpet or your floral bedspread.

2) Black goes with everything. You've got your black power suit on, your white cat jumps on your lap, it's all over. But if your black cat wants a little love and affection, no harm done!

3) Black cats look like little panthers. Their regal breeding is very apparent under their sleek black coats.

4) A black cat will match any décor. You won't have to redecorate your house to coordinate with your cat. They are totally willing to pose on gold velvet, white velvet, pink velvet, or your sofa cushion - to add taste and beauty to any room of your home. You name it, they're willing to go to great lengths to help you make your home beautiful. They’re that kind of cat.

5) Black cats have more fun. You only thought blondes had more fun. Black cats are fun-loving, playful, full of spark and energy. They're like the sun streaming in a window on a rainy day; like the circus coming to town; they're just plain fantastic.

About S.A.V.E. Rescue Coalition - TX Chapter

About Our Rescue Group...

S.A.V.E. Rescue Coalition works to promote adoption through new adoption events, more public exposure of pets for adoption, and help the public make a good match with an adoptable animal.
Rescue groups work very hard to save animals every day, often using their own money, sacrificing time with family etc. We have animals from shelters and the streets of Houston that are now adoptable pets and we area helping these animals find permanent, loving homes.
We are all volunteer and no funds are spent for salaries, benefits etc. All money goes directly to the rescue group or their animals.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Please vist our website or Facebook page for a list of coming events.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption fee range from $150-250 for dogs and $90-125 for cats and each animal is altered, microchipped and current on all vaccinations. You will be required to complete an application for your selected pet. You can do so at Processing may take up to 3 days. The application will include previous pet experience and vet info, how you will house your new pet and a little about your lifestyle so that we can be sure your pet will mesh with your family's activity level. We want you to have a permanent family member so we will take great care to assure that you find a suitable companion.
