Facts about Hattie

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black (All)
  • Age: Kitten
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 31789035
  • Hair: Unknown
Hattie is 1 of four kittens in her litter. Her mother is believed to be a black and white Tuxedo. She was born at a gas station and was rescued with her littermates. Her mother is still there but not for long as she too will be rescued as soon as possible. This little black beauty is simply the sweetest and most lovable girl. A little more shy than her siblings but that doesn't keep her from getting in there, running/playing/jumping/climbing and getting her fill of the kitten kibbles. It also doesn't stop her from getting all the human cuddles she can get. Hattie purrs every time you pick her up and she is just as content playing as she is sitting in your arms. She races up and down the stairs with her litter mates and other kitten friends. Hattie currently lives in a foster home with 2 seven year old girls, kittens and cats of various ages and dogs of all sizes. Although Hattie is black, in the sun you will notice darker, blacker stripes under her top coat. Don't overlook Hattie because she has black fur. If you do, you will be very disappointed at all of the love you will miss out on. If you are considering adding Hattie to your pride, contact SAVE. Her foster mom loves to talk about all the cute things Hattie does.

About S.A.V.E. Rescue Coalition - TX Chapter

About Our Rescue Group...

S.A.V.E. Rescue Coalition works to promote adoption through new adoption events, more public exposure of pets for adoption, and help the public make a good match with an adoptable animal.
Rescue groups work very hard to save animals every day, often using their own money, sacrificing time with family etc. We have animals from shelters and the streets of Houston that are now adoptable pets and we area helping these animals find permanent, loving homes.
We are all volunteer and no funds are spent for salaries, benefits etc. All money goes directly to the rescue group or their animals.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Please vist our website or Facebook page for a list of coming events.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption fee range from $150-200 for dogs and $75-100 for cats and each animal is altered, microchipped and current on all vaccinations. You will be required to complete an application for your selected pet. You can do so at Processing may take up to 3 days. The application will include previous pet experience and vet info, how you will house your new pet and a little about your lifestyle so that we can be sure your pet will mesh with your family's activity level. We want you to have a permanent family member so we will take great care to assure that you find a suitable companion.
