Look at this smile! Chester makes you want to come home to this smile every day after work or play. Chester is a hard working and wanting to please you type of dog. He has courage, and the desire to go, do, and see the world! Chester is male Pointer mix. Chester has had professional training at Pet Haven and knows all of his basic commands. He is housebroken and crate trained. He has grace, with a noble carriage, an intelligent expression and a loving personality. He loves to be petted and has a wiggle butt when he gets excited to see you when you come home! He is silly and full of fun and love. He is very playful, and loves to flop over on his back in your lap for belly rubs. Chester is a smart dog. He loves long walks and to chase the ball. Chester is intelligent, devoted, loyal and clean, patient, friendly, and affectionate. He will do best as the only dog in the household, as he can be food and toy aggressive. Chester is not really fond of children under 10, small dogs or cats. He's "usually" good with other big dogs...most of the time but can be picky about his doggie friends.

Chester will be best in a home with older teenage children. He will surf the counter if an opportunity arises. Chester loves his rides in the car. He is well behaved during grooming and loves water and the bath. He does not bark unless someone is at the door. Chester loves to be taken on a daily, brisk, long walk, jog or runs alongside you when you bicycle or if you wish to jog. He is an excellent jogging companion. He loves to swim and retrieve. He is the right dog for you if you have a fun active lifestyle and then love to cuddle up with your dog at night. Come down to the Ranch to meet Chester, an all-round funtastic dog!
