Rosalie's been livin' it up in a foster home for the past few months. Read what her foster has to say!:

"Boy, do I just adore this funny girl! Knowing Rosalie had been at PAWS for several months (since April) with not even a single adoption inquiry, I decided to pick her up on Thanksgiving to foster as senior kitties are my favorite. I was told by the staff that she'd been pretty depressed, a bit cranky, and refusing to groom herself. I also discovered that she'd been with a family most of her life before being surrendered to a shelter - how sad! After the long, 45 minute drive to my home I expected her to be a bit shy and bewildered, but nope... Rosalie walked right out of her travel carrier and explored her new temporary setting with purrs and curiosity. I knew then that this older ladycat had some moxie! It took no time at all for her to become seemingly comfortable, although it did take a tiny bit of time for her to become accustomed to consistent human affection (which she now loves)!

"Rosalie is quirky in that she has a loud-ish, raspy-ish voice that she utilizes before breakfast and dinner mostly (both of which she is very passionate about). At other times, it may mean that she wants a bit of petting. Either way, she's not overly vocal, but has a fierce tone which I believe has turned so many potential adopters away. Rosalie was simply born with the sounds of her inner lioness. You go, girl! :-)

"Rosalie IS older, but she's just now hitting her stride! She eats an affordable canned diet available at nearly every major pet store (PAWS gets in on Amazon for cheaper!) to help keep her kidneys healthy. She's had recent and regular blood work, urinalysis, and ultrasound to make sure everything's all good.

"The person who adopts Rosalie will be the lucky one, as she really is so appreciative of this second chance at life! Her adopter should live in a quiet home (other pets are fine, but should be calm), have financial security to care for an elder-cat, and desire to do something so very special - give a home to a senior kitty no one else wants. You will not regret adopting her!"
