Oh Todd! Our distinguished gentleman just can't seem to catch a break. He originally arrived at CCR when a good Samaritan found him running loose in the neighborhood and stopped by to have him checked for a microchip. He did have a chip, but his former owners were nowhere to be found. He is a sweet, smart, loving older guy who does have some chronic health issues. Todd has Cushing's disease, and takes daily medication which will be lifelong. He also has an underactive thyroid, and takes meds for this as well. He is such a good boy in the house, and his foster family report that he's an excellent walker. He does well with other dogs but thinks cats are tasty snacks, so a home with no cats would be best for Todd.

About Chicago Canine Rescue

About Our Shelter...

CCRF was founded in 2001 to help find permanent, loving homes for homeless dogs in our city. In just over seven years, CCRF has saved the lives of over 2,000 dogs, cats, kittens and puppies.

CCRF now assists the animals that are the MOST vulnerable in Midwest - the dogs and cats that are slated for euthanasia because they are too old, too young, injured, have disabilities, or have simply been overlooked for too long by potential adopters at other shelters.
