Gorgeous Jersey, the supermodel of CCR! This lanky, leggy lady is simply stunning. And like any gorgeous girl, she's also a little complicated. Jersey is perfectly potty trained, sits on command, barks a little, but nothing overwhelming, doesn’t whine too much, likes her crate, and loves to play fetch/ rope tug. One thing Jersey doesn't love, though, is other dogs. During her time in a busy downtown foster home, we discovered that Jersey is quite leash reactive, and all the other dogs on city streets were just too much for her. Jersey's ideal home would be one in the suburbs, with a nice big yard and a nice tall fence, where she could get most of her exercise playing with toys with her people, her favorite thing to do. She would do best in a family with older/teenage children, and where leash-walking is not a necessity. We know there's a perfect home out there for our supermodel girl - could it be yours?

About Chicago Canine Rescue

About Our Shelter...

CCRF was founded in 2001 to help find permanent, loving homes for homeless dogs in our city. In just over seven years, CCRF has saved the lives of over 2,000 dogs, cats, kittens and puppies.

CCRF now assists the animals that are the MOST vulnerable in Midwest - the dogs and cats that are slated for euthanasia because they are too old, too young, injured, have disabilities, or have simply been overlooked for too long by potential adopters at other shelters.
