Long naps, bird-watching, and toy-hunting are the pastimes of Jessica, an independent girl who chooses her friends wisely and is fiercely loyal to those she trusts. She favors spending her roaming time gazing out the window of our community cat room, dreaming of a home to call her own. The stress she feels over those around her constantly coming and going as they get adopted and she remains homeless for a total of two years now is palpable. If only someone understood that if given the chance in a proper home, she could be the best friend they've ever had! All they would have to do is love her unconditionally, be patient, and make sure she sticks to a special diet. Who will be the kind soul that takes a chance on such a deserving girl who has been overlooked for too long?

My adoption fee of $25.00 includes my spay surgery, deworming, microchip, up-to-date vaccinations, and my FIV/FELV Combo Test. I've even started on my monthly flea and Heartworm preventatives - what more could you ask for?! I am a part of the priority adoption program at Pawmetto Lifeline. Please contact Pawmetto Lifeline at (803) 465-9170 to find out more about adopting me. You can learn more at http://www.pawmettolifeline.org/adopt/priority_adoptions/

Love always,
Jessica

About Pawmetto Lifeline

About Our Rescue Group...

Pawmetto Lifeline is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit animal rescue organization solving pet overpopulation in the Midlands. There are over 20,000 homeless pets in the Midlands and over 17,000 are euthanized each year. Our plan uniquely positions us to correct this problem through four distinct initiatives: Adoption, Medical, Rescue Collaboration, and Education efforts.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Pawmetto Lifeline is open for adoptions Monday-Friday from 12 noon-7 pm, Saturday from 10 am-7 pm and Sunday from 12 noon-5 pm. Some cats are also available for adoption daily at all Petsmart locations in the Columbia area. (Currently there are Petsmart locations in Harbison, Lexington and the Northeast on Two Notch Road.)

Our Adoption Process...

All prospective adopters are required to complete an application and go through a short interview process. Once approved the adoption fees are paid and the adopter is able to bring the pet home the same day.

Adoption fees for cats and kittens are $100 and include their spay or neuter, all vaccinations appropriate for their age and they are microchipped.

Adoption fees for dogs and puppies start at $150 and include their spay or neuter, all vaccinations appropriate for their age and they are microchipped.
