Howdy, y'all! I'm Butch, and I am an absolute love bug! I am at my happiest in your lap while you pet me. I love to snuggle next to you or in your lap. I would do best in a home where I am the only pet because I love to be the center of attention! My adoption fee of $25.00 includes my neuter surgery, deworming, microchip, up-to-date vaccinations, and my FIV/FELV Combo Test. I've even started on my monthly flea and Heartworm preventatives - what more could you ask for?! This pet has tested positive for FIV. This disease is manageable and Pawmetto Lifeline offers a special adoption fee and additional lifetime services for this pet. Please read more about our Priority Adoptions program at http://www.pawmettolifeline.org/adopt/priority_adoptions/ Also, please learn more about this disease at http://www.crashslanding.org/FivAndFelv.html If you'd like to meet me, please fill out an online application or call a counselor at (803) 465-9150. See you soon!

Love always,
Butch

About Pawmetto Lifeline

About Our Rescue Group...

Pawmetto Lifeline is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit animal rescue organization solving pet overpopulation in the Midlands. There are over 20,000 homeless pets in the Midlands and over 17,000 are euthanized each year. Our plan uniquely positions us to correct this problem through four distinct initiatives: Adoption, Medical, Rescue Collaboration, and Education efforts.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Pawmetto Lifeline is open for adoptions Monday-Friday from 12 noon-7 pm, Saturday from 10 am-7 pm and Sunday from 12 noon-5 pm. Some cats are also available for adoption daily at all Petsmart locations in the Columbia area. (Currently there are Petsmart locations in Harbison, Lexington and the Northeast on Two Notch Road.)

Our Adoption Process...

All prospective adopters are required to complete an application and go through a short interview process. Once approved the adoption fees are paid and the adopter is able to bring the pet home the same day.

Adoption fees for cats and kittens are $100 and include their spay or neuter, all vaccinations appropriate for their age and they are microchipped.

Adoption fees for dogs and puppies start at $150 and include their spay or neuter, all vaccinations appropriate for their age and they are microchipped.
