Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Maddie is an approximately 13-15 yr old poodle-terrier mix (maybe?). She was found as a stray in Delaware with a microchip that was registered to a shelter in New York City where she was adopted out 8 years ago. They had no contact information for the adopter so she joined the Senior Dog Haven family. Maddie currently shares her foster home with four other dogs. She really enjoys following her humans around and exploring the backyard. While Maddie is house broken she sometimes prefers the use of a potty pad. With her advanced age, Maddie has partial hearing and vision loss and some other random senior dog issues that should be monitored, but don’t let those issues bother you because they sure don’t bother her. Maddie would do best in a home with adults. Dog savvy children are okay too as long as they remember that Maddie is an older lady and needs to be handled gently. She also needs a calm home with minimal or no stairs. Maddie is a sweet girl who is looking for her forever. With her one ear up and one ear down, we think Maddie is partial flying nun. Maddie is active on social media and you can find her on facebook (facebook.com/adoptmyfosterdogs), Instagram (@adoptmyfosterdogs), and twitter (@adoptfosterdogs). Contact her with any questions you may have or you can fill out an application for adoption at seniordoghaven.org.
