Meet Willa! This totally awesome 4 year old female is a walker hound mix, and her personality and temperament is all hound. Yes, she howls, not the loudest we’ve ever heard but she holds her own and likes to talk on occasion for sure. She is one of those dogs you wish could talk and tell you her story… We are fairly certain she was bred numerous times and then probably left as a “stray". Now that Willa is in a loving environment we have discovered that she is great with other dogs, fine with cats and loves all people. She is the perfect medium size sweetie and is crate trained. She is one of the lucky ones, making it out of a high kill shelter. She was a staff favorite at the shelter she came from and is at HVARS as well... How can you not love the long ears, happy go lucky personality and the kindest eyes, and the sweetest soul you will ever meet!
Willa is UTD on vaccines, she is spayed and has been de-wormed. She is UTD on flea/tick and heartworm preventive and has been recently treated for heartworm.
