Are you an experienced cat lover, or willing to learn? Would you like to have your very own house panther to keep you on your toes? Then, come on down to KCPP and say hello to Murph!

Murph is a handsome, young, sleek house panther, longing for a forever home. Murph is truly a wonderful cat! He is friendly, super-playful, has tons and tons of energy and is extremely smart. Add all those characteristics together, though, and Murph is a cat who is just not suited at all to shelter living. Imagine bouncing with energy and athleticism and having to spend most of your time in a kennel. Imagine wanting to meet and play with everyone you see, and not being able to get out and run freely. Imagine being super smart and not being challenged with games and puzzles and places to explore and new adventures every day. Well, it can make a guy pretty darn frustrated!

What Murph needs most is someone who understands smart, energetic house panthers, or is willing to learn. Murph would do best in home with someone who would play rambunctious games with him several times a day, challenge him with puzzles and activities, and then, once he’s had a chance to release all that energy, work with him on calmer behaviors and manners. He’s a friendly guy who’s very smart, and he can learn quickly. But he needs to get out of the shelter and into a home with someone who will help him do that.

Because Murph can play too roughly and still needs some work on his manners, he wouldn’t be suited to a house with small children. But for the right owner or family, he will make a purrfect companion---and bring boundless energy and enthusiasm to your home. Are you ready to take the leap with Murph? He’s waiting for you at KCPP today!
