Hi!
My name is Latoya!
I'm a super sweet girl (look at my lovely picture). I'm 3 years old and spayed.
I'm Hound, Sharpei and something, which makes me an all American dog. Plus, I'm smart, know basic commands, and am eager to learn more.
My story: Sadly, I've never had a real home (I've lived here since I was a pup). The Second Chance staff is wonderful and kind, but I really, really want my own special person, because I have a lot of love to give.
Here's my resume:
Profession: Exercise buddy/couch potato.
Hobbies: Walking or jogging with my person (leash trained), digging, playing, or just hanging with you. I'm big, but I can be a real cuddle bunny.
Special need: Someone to show me what's good to watch on Netflix...and who cares enough to help me get over that digging thing. I love to tear up plush things, so I need chew toys!!! I don't like cats or small children, but I get along with some other dogs. (Let's meet and discuss it.)

About Second Chance Animal Sanctuary

About Our Rescue Group...

For 25 years Second Chance Animal Sanctuary has been working to help homeless dogs and cats find their way into safe, permanent and loving homes. We promote animal welfare by providing rescue, proper veterinary care, and adoption for abandoned animals in Oklahoma.

Every animal has a story and many of those stories are heart-breaking, but in every case there is a common theme: an animal that deserves a second chance at life.

EACH ADOPTION SAVES TWO LIVES...AND ENRICHES ANOTHER!

When you adopt, not only do you save the life of one animal, but it frees up critical space so that we can rescue a second pet. And of course, the life that is enriched...is yours.

Our hours of operation are: Wed - Fri 12-6pm, Sat 10am-5pm and Sun 12-5pm. We are closed Mon & Tues.

Phone: (405) 321-1915

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption fee is $125. All animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and kept on monthly flea/tick/ heartworm prevention. Dogs have been heartworm and tick disease tested and cats are fiv/fel leuk negative. We do require an adoption survey and signed contract for any adoption.
