Facts about Scotia
Breed: Labrador Retriever/Weimaraner Mix
Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
I am already spayed.
Hi! My name is Scotia! I'm a lively, athletic, super smart girl with loads of personality. I'm 2 years old, and spayed. I'm part pitbull (aren't we all?), part Labrador, and maybe something else. I know my basic commands, and am working on my leash training, and am willing to try hard and learn all kinds of other stuff. Here's the rest of my resume: Profession: As soon as I get that leash thing down pat, I'll be a fantastic exercise buddy. And I'm sooo intelligent...just use your imagination. Hobbies: Walking, running, cavorting. (I'm a living, breathing action figure!) And I'm crazy about playing fetch. Willing to pick up lots of new hobbies that you like. Special needs: Being here in a shelter is really stressing me out, and sometimes I have anxiety attacks. I've never learned how to get along with other animals, so I need a home with just my human. (I'm super sweet to people. Unless you haven't noticed, I'm...well...just all-around super!)

About Our Rescue Group...
For 25 years Second Chance Animal Sanctuary has been working to help homeless dogs and cats find their way into safe, permanent and loving homes. We promote animal welfare by providing rescue, proper veterinary care, and adoption for abandoned animals in Oklahoma.
Every animal has a story and many of those stories are heart-breaking, but in every case there is a common theme: an animal that deserves a second chance at life.
EACH ADOPTION SAVES TWO LIVES...AND ENRICHES ANOTHER!
When you adopt, not only do you save the life of one animal, but it frees up critical space so that we can rescue a second pet. And of course, the life that is enriched...is yours.
Our hours of operation are: Wed - Fri 12-6pm, Sat 10am-5pm and Sun 12-5pm. We are closed Mon & Tues.
Phone: (405) 321-1915
Our Adoption Process...
Our adoption fee is $125. All animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and kept on monthly flea/tick/ heartworm prevention. Dogs have been heartworm and tick disease tested and cats are fiv/fel leuk negative. We do require an adoption survey and signed contract for any adoption.

Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures,
