Nell was found in an alleyway and was being "cared for" by someone who clearly had no concept of the meaning of the term. When she had a litter of kittens, she was too young and didn't have the resources to care for them; none survived.

Nell is a spirited little girl with a lot of energy. She loves to run around and have fun with toys, especially those she can hunt with a leaping pounce, yet she always circles back to you. She is happiest when she can truly be worn out with playtime on a daily basis, whether you are giving her that exercise (she loves to play fetch) or she is entertaining herself. Nell adores being petted and will meow to ask for more (and more!) attention. She can be quite chatty! She'll head-butt your arm, leg, or whatever she can reach to let you know she wants more attention. She loves to curl up next to you on the sofa during movie time and will curl up at the foot of your bed just to be close to you. Nell always has an inquisitive and alert look on her face with those big round eyes of hers and is a sassy charmer.

Although Nell would be quite happy as an only cat, she interacted somewhat with the other cats in her foster home and for the most part got along with them. She has been around small dogs and did well there, too. Nell should be in an adult-only home as she needs guidance and consistency in her playtime workouts so she clearly knows that toys are for playtime and hands are for petting afterward.

Nell disapproves of cages and while you might get hints you will likely not nearly see the true Nell in a caged environment. However, just get her home and this bright-eyed little girl will charm you and show you what a marvelous companion and love bug she can be... will Nell be your loving friend?
