Gabby was found wandering while she was in heat. She was taken to a partner veterinarian who asked if we could take her in after no guardian could be found.

Gabby is well-named: there are conversations galore in your future! She will chirp, chirrup, mrr, meow, trill, purr, prrt, and make all sorts of interesting sounds as Gabby solicits your attention or expresses how happy she is to have your affection. And her purr motor is definitely broken—it’s stuck in "on" position at full volume. Gabby is an extraordinarily friendly kitty who is very people-focused. She’ll roll around in your lap (she’s very fond of sprawling flat on her back) and then stretch up to nuzzle your face... don’t be surprised if she plants a kiss right on your lips! A good brushing is also welcome. Gabby really can’t get enough of your company, though she may get distracted if there’s a good catnip toy... she’ll pick it up and shake it around, drool, and love it to a quick death. She brings an intensity to life in most of her interactions—she’s keen to make the most of it!

Gabby is completely people-focused and wants nothing to do with her own kind; she needs to be an only cat. She has been wary of dogs at a distance though if properly introduced to a calm canine who leaves her alone she might be able to live with one. She is fine with most children so long as they respect her cues.

Gregarious Gabby is ready to make a permanent connection with a person who will enjoy the conversations and snuggles she brings to the table. Will she chat you up and find a forever home?
