Mocha is a timid boy. He has come a very long way but still is extremely reserved. He is initially afraid when you approach him to pick him up, but once he trusts you he really enjoys being pet and rubbed. He even likes to engage in a little "batting" play with toys that have strings/tails. He is okay with other cats and kids (that aren't too rambunctious) when he feels safe and he really likes dogs. He will be a great companion for a friendly dog in need of a pal. This beautiful guy has gorgeous shiny jet black fur and stunning gold eyes. Come meet Mocha and give him a place to call home.

About Romeoville Humane Society

About Our Shelter...

We have created a non-profit animal shelter dedicated to eliminating cruelty, abuse and the overpopulation of animals. The Humane Society is committed to creating the awareness of animal rights throughout the Romeoville community by providing numerous animal welfare programs, including pet adoptions, humane education and cruelty investigations. ALL animals available for adoption are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, fecal tested, fiv/felv tested (cats only), heartworm tested (dogs only) and microchipped. It is the policy of the Romeoville Humane Society to spay or neuter all animals in its care in an effort to reduce the homeless pet population.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Every few weeks we hold adoption events at area Petsmarts and Pet Supplies Plus'. Please conact us at romeovillehumanesociety@yahoo.com to find out when our next event will be.
