Facts about Rosie (Barbas)

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black (All)
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 19388437
  • Hair: Unknown
Rosie needs a kind and patient owner. She likes people, and likes to be out and about hanging around the family and even follows you around cooing to talk to you, but she does not like to be picked up. She is content to remain an independent girl. "Nosey Rosie" as she was nicknamed (because she always has to see what is going on) does very much enjoy the company of other social, laid back, friendly felines. She can also co-exist with kind dogs who know how to respect a kitty's personal space.

About Romeoville Humane Society

About Our Shelter...

We have created a non-profit animal shelter dedicated to eliminating cruelty, abuse and the overpopulation of animals. The Humane Society is committed to creating the awareness of animal rights throughout the Romeoville community by providing numerous animal welfare programs, including pet adoptions, humane education and cruelty investigations. ALL animals available for adoption are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, fecal tested, fiv/felv tested (cats only), heartworm tested (dogs only) and microchipped. It is the policy of the Romeoville Humane Society to spay or neuter all animals in its care in an effort to reduce the homeless pet population.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Every few weeks we hold adoption events at area Petsmarts and Pet Supplies Plus'. Please conact us at romeovillehumanesociety@yahoo.com to find out when our next event will be.
