Midas is a very sweet and loving boy. He is a gentle soul and would be happiest as an only pet where he receives 100% of the attention. This handsome fella lovvvvvvvvvves being pet and comes to you for lovin every morning and each day you return home from work. Call his name and he comes a'runnin! He will give you lots of head butts to tell you "hey, you need to pet and love on me!". He also gives plenty of kitty kisses and loves to get them in return. At his foster home, he can often be found cuddling in bed with his foster mom, sometimes right on top of her. He quickly became a favorite at the adoption center because he is just so affectionate (and talkative!) to everyone and anyone. Midas will find a quiet hiding spot to nap, then he's playing with all his toys, gobbling up some chow, and getting all the affection he can. Older or calmer kids are ok in his book, but younger or very active children may be too much for this older gentleman. Midas does have some typical aging feline needs. He is on a prescription diet for his kidneys and also gets fluids if needed. But with that special care he is a perky and happy chap! This friendly and very nice cat will be a wonderful addition to any home that knows how to treat a senior pet. He truly makes you feel very loved and special when he is purring up a storm, rubbing on you and snuggling in your arms.

About Romeoville Humane Society

About Our Shelter...

We have created a non-profit animal shelter dedicated to eliminating cruelty, abuse and the overpopulation of animals. The Humane Society is committed to creating the awareness of animal rights throughout the Romeoville community by providing numerous animal welfare programs, including pet adoptions, humane education and cruelty investigations. ALL animals available for adoption are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, fecal tested, fiv/felv tested (cats only), heartworm tested (dogs only) and microchipped. It is the policy of the Romeoville Humane Society to spay or neuter all animals in its care in an effort to reduce the homeless pet population.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Every few weeks we hold adoption events at area Petsmarts and Pet Supplies Plus'. Please conact us at romeovillehumanesociety@yahoo.com to find out when our next event will be.
