Meet Holstein, a very friendly and super duper playful little guy! As your typical active kitten, he loves to chase a laser light, bat around any toys that are lying around, and then once he's tuckered out (and it does take awhile), he loves to snuggle under your neck while laying on your shoulder. He prefers to sleep in bed with his people for the night, and will claims a pillow so he can sleep right beside you if you let him. Other pets are AOK in his book and will do great in a household with other playful and social felines and especially cat-friendly, playful canines. Our hope is Holstein finds a forever family with an active, tolerant, rough housing dog for him to pal around with. We don't think Holstein should be an only pet, as he will get very bored - he craves play and stimulation from other pets. Holstein is very good about his litter box. And bonus - he even sits well for nail trims and doesn't mind baths (he actually LOVES water and seems to enjoy baths). Overall here is one cute and loving sweetie pie all ready to find a forever home of his very own. Will it be yours??

About Romeoville Humane Society

About Our Shelter...

We have created a non-profit animal shelter dedicated to eliminating cruelty, abuse and the overpopulation of animals. The Humane Society is committed to creating the awareness of animal rights throughout the Romeoville community by providing numerous animal welfare programs, including pet adoptions, humane education and cruelty investigations. ALL animals available for adoption are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, fecal tested, fiv/felv tested (cats only), heartworm tested (dogs only) and microchipped. It is the policy of the Romeoville Humane Society to spay or neuter all animals in its care in an effort to reduce the homeless pet population.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Every few weeks we hold adoption events at area Petsmarts and Pet Supplies Plus'. Please conact us at romeovillehumanesociety@yahoo.com to find out when our next event will be.
