Lea is from a litter of five. She as well as all her litter mates are very friendly, love to be around their people and get lots of attention, and are super playful! Lea can also be independent; she is curious and nosey and likes to check out everything around, but not in a mischievous way. This beauty enjoys lots of loving from her people as she's cradled in your arms for petting and snuggling. She / they are your typical well adjusted kittens. She's not been formally introduced to dogs, but during an outing to the adoption center, the canines did not seem to bother her at all as long as they were not rushing at her barking. If you are looking for a pair, Lea is best paired with her equally as beautiful sister Nevada, or even cutie pie sister Charlie.

About Romeoville Humane Society

About Our Shelter...

We have created a non-profit animal shelter dedicated to eliminating cruelty, abuse and the overpopulation of animals. The Humane Society is committed to creating the awareness of animal rights throughout the Romeoville community by providing numerous animal welfare programs, including pet adoptions, humane education and cruelty investigations. ALL animals available for adoption are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, fecal tested, fiv/felv tested (cats only), heartworm tested (dogs only) and microchipped. It is the policy of the Romeoville Humane Society to spay or neuter all animals in its care in an effort to reduce the homeless pet population.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Every few weeks we hold adoption events at area Petsmarts and Pet Supplies Plus'. Please conact us at to find out when our next event will be.
