Hi I am Katie (the one with the down ears) and this is my brother Doc we are 4 old Chihuahuas . We really are siblings and have been together since birth. We are pretty mellow but kick into play gear about twice a day. We love to show off for our two leggers and always check to be sure they are watching us. We are usually pretty happy but our papa died in October and now we are very sad and confused. We are looking for a new family that will welcome us both as the only pets. Our papa loved us so much and we are so lonely without him. We promise to bring you lots of smiles and happiness. Please call for more info about us. 480-580-0082 ask for Debbie she is our papas daughter and already has 4 dogs and the occasional foster and we really prefer to get all the attention.
Lucky Dog Rescue came into existence after one individual started saving one dog at a time back in late March of 2004. It began as a Dalmatian rescue, originally named Phoenix Dalmatian Station.
After seeing so many nice, highly adoptable dogs sitting in concrete cells in the county shelters, being put to sleep when no one came to the rescue, it quickly evolved into an all breed commitment, and we began saving several other breeds and mixes too! We are now a growing group of dog lovers who help all breeds and are committed to giving dogs a second chance at finding a forever home.
Come Meet Our Pets...
Our dogs can be seen at weekly adoption events throughout the valley or by appointment. Please visit http://www.luckydogrescue.org for the most current information.
Our current adoption fee for adults (> 8 months old) is $250 and for puppies (< 8 months old) the fee is $300. The Adoption fee for senior dogs (7+ years) is $200. These fees cover the vaccines, microchipping, neuter/spay surgery, county license, and vet check for the dog.
Before an adoption can take place we do require that all potential adopters fill out an application. Once the application has been approved a home visit may be conducted. All adopters must sign a contract in order to finalize the adoption. Go to http://www.luckydogrescue.org/adoption-center/dogs to find a dog and submit an application.
