Abby's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Abby's Story...

We adopted Abby from our local SPCA. We've had her 3 year. We are looking for someone who is fairly active or has a fenced in yard that she could run and play in.

Reason
Husband and I both work so Abby spends the day in her crate. By evening we're both tired from long work hours and sleepless nights with a baby that she doesn't get the exercise and attenion she needs

Adjectives that describe your pet:
She is very loving, a cuddle bug (but is currently trained to not get on the couch), loves to lay in the sun, chase balls, loyal

Best Qualities
She is very good at being let out off leash and stays in her yard for the most part. Listens when called 90% of the time, goes in her crate without a fight,

Favorite Activities
relax, laying in the sun, running and chasing balls

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abby, a Roanoke American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Roanoke, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Roanoke.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Roanoke already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Roanoke breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Roanoke paves the way for another one to be saved.
