***Audrey is currently a part of our 'Foster to Adopt' Program***
As a part of this program, it allows an interested adoptive family the chance to bring her home as a foster to see if she is the right match for them.
Hello, my name is Audrey. I am a super sweet girl on the search for my retirement home!
It is clear that I did not have a great start in life. While a lot of my history is seen in the scarring on my body to my loose belly from multiple litters, my foster family wishes they could hear my tales.
My foster mom says that I am a lazy girl who enjoys her naptimes. While I am more mellow, I also enjoy walks and the occasional sprint around the backyard.
I'm super affectionate - I like to give hugs and kisses! My foster mom says that I think I'm a lap dog, and even though I'm larger (60lbs), she enjoys cuddles with me. My foster mom says I will be "the best dog anybody could ask for" because I just want to be loved and give love.
I'm well-behaved, too! I'm really good at sitting, laying down, shaking your hand, walking on a leash, riding in a car, I take treats gently from your hand and I'm potty trained.
I will need to be an only dog. It's believed that I wasn't socialized when I was younger, and I've always had to fend for myself so I see other dogs as a threat. It will be important that my forever home not have any other animals, and is careful with outings (walks) so that I stay safe.
I can't wait until I meet my forever family! Could that be you?
